Nibu Perettil entered into the television and film industry in the 90's and since then, he has directed several programmes for Doordarshan.

His first project was a gulf based popular program called "Pinnitta Pathakal", showcasing the success stories of various Keralite entrepreneurs in U.A.E. This program was telecast on Asianet main channel as well as in its news channel later, owing to popular demand.
